Delvaux Museum arrives at K11 in Hong Kong
This year marks the first anniversary of the Delvaux Museum, an extraordinary space located above Delvaux’s atelier in Brussels. While the exceptional circumstances of 2020 – complete with travel restrictions and sanitary measures – have hindered certain celebrations, they have not stopped others. The Delvaux Museum therefore finds itself on a remarkable journey to Hong Kong, ready to celebrate its unique milestone in unique surroundings.
From December 9 to January 18, the K11 MUSEA located in Victoria Dockside will host the very first Delvaux Museum exhibition outside of Brussels. Housed within the incredible Gold Ball, a multi-dimensional space for exhibitions and events, it will showcase the intertwining stories of the handbag, Belgian heritage and la Maison.
Inside the gleaming latticework of the luminous Gold Ball which appears to float above the atrium, visitors will be treated to exceptional highlights. From the history of the handbag, to displays of the Brillant in large and miniature forms and playful Magritte Collection details, visitors will be able to see and explore the Belgitude which makes Delvaux designs so special.
